An unplugged preview of the first two songs of Greendale were enthusiastically received by the community on Monday night. Audience members shook the rafters of the Artesian, bursting into song along with the cast members for the final chorus of ‘Double E.’
Cast members were John Kennedy as Grandpa, Keiran Kennedy as Cousin Jed, Cam Fraser as Earl, Cheryl Hymus-Fraser as Edith, Sabrina Cataldo as Granny, Zach Phair as The Hero, Isla Hymus-Fraser as the newspaper delivery kid, and Chris ‘Tiny’ Matchett as The Singer.
The unplugged workshop, intended to test out songs and gain audience feedback, was presented as part of the Cathedral Village Arts Festival.
